COMPUTERIZED ACCOUNTING PROGRAM

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Individuals who enroll in this program will be instructed in both manual and computerized accounting.  It is important that students understand manual accounting before completing computerized accounting.  Students will also complete an accounting simulation and a payroll project.  The computerized accounting assignments are completed in “QuickBooks” which is a popular accounting program.

 

Along, with the above students will also be instructed in popular software packages that are used in the business world.

MEDICAL TECH PROGRAM

 

 

 

Individual enrolled in this program acquire a variety of skills that will make them employable in the medical field.  Students will acquire clinical skills, be able to become certified as a phlebotomist.  Students will become knowledgeable in medical terminology and pharmacology terms.

 

This program will give the student the skills necessary to become a professional in the medical field.  Also, it may begin a career path for graduates.

PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL OFFICE WORKER

 

 

This program introduces the student to the clerical skills that are utilized in a medical environment.  These include:  Medical Terminology, Third Party Billing, Medical Manager, Professional Ethics and Clinical Skills.

 

Also, included in this program are software skills that will enhance the computer ability of the student.

 

The skills achieved in this program have enabled our students to obtain employment in many medical environments, such as:  Hospitals, Doctors’ Offices, Chiropractors’ Offices, Walk-In Centers, and many other locations.

This program will give the student a wide variety of skills enabling them to perform a variety of tasks in the medical field.  They will be able to take vital signs, complete phlebotomy functions and take EKG’s.

 

Also, during the course of a students' studies they will be instructed in the following:  Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, Lab Procedures, Anatomy, Third Party Billing and Medical Manager.

 

The individual will be crossed trained in a variety of medical skills enabling them to apply for a variety of job opportunities.

Individuals enrolled in this program will be instructed in the technical components necessary to pass the two tests to become A+ Certified.

 

During the course of study students will be introduced to both hardware and software concepts.  The instruction in these areas arm the individual with the necessary information to pass the A+ Certification Test.

 

Also, students complete assignments in the most popular software currently utilized in a business environment.

 

In today’s business world it is necessary for the individual to know both the hardware and software functions.

 

We have an extremely high percentage of students passing the A+ Certification Test who have completed this program.

This program introduces the student to the world of networking.  Students are instructed in the courses necessary to become a MCSE (Microsoft Networking Engineer).

 

As students complete courses they will have to take a computerized test that covers material in that particular program.  There will be six tests that an individual will need to complete to become a MCSE Certified.

This class includes a combination of our PC Repair Program and our MCSE Program.

 

Students will receive instruction to prepare them to take the A+ Certification exam.  They also will take courses in Networking that will make them a Microsoft Professional upon passing a Microsoft Test.

 

This prepares the student to obtain employment in a variety of technical areas; as well entry level positions in the Networking field.

RECEPTIONIST/CLERK PROGRAM

 

 

 

This program is for the individual with little or no clerical experience.  It introduces basic office procedures to the student, such as:  Keyboarding, Calculator Usage, Filing Concepts, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Data Entry, and Data Base creation.

 

The student will be able to obtain employment in an entry level position in the following type of positions:  Data Entry, Receptionist, and Office Clerk.
